Tewksbury, MA: The North Shore Vipers are proud to share that U13 standout Julia Pellerin has announced her commitment to play hockey at Boston College (Class of 2027).
Coming off a strong regular season, the U13's earned an at-large bid to play in the National Tournament. With dozens of D-1 scouts in attendance throughout the course of the weekend, Pellerin shined. She produced 9 points in 6 games, including 2 goals in the Vipers 4-2 National Championship victory. Shortly after Nationals, Pellerin and fellow Vipers Mia Langlois and Devon Galizio won the 2018 U15 World Selects Invitational in Italy playing for the East Coast Selects.
Pellerin's performance on the big stage put the 13 year old in a position most girls her age can only dream of, an offer to play for one of the best Women's Hockey programs in the Country. The Future Eagle still has a few years to wait until hitting the ice at Kelly Rink, and will be back with the U13's this upcoming season to help defend their National Title.
Pellerin is the first Viper to commit to a Division 1 program since Olivia Bryant (Sacred Heart), and Veronica Alois (Brown) in 2015. Bryant, a Sophmore Defenseman was the top scoring blue-liner for Sacred Heart this season with 21 points (9-12-21). Alois, a Sophmore Forward played in all but one contest this season, and earned her fourth career multi-point performance (1-1-2) at the Agganis Arena against BU this past November.
Congratulations to Julia and her family on this outstanding achievement!
